School – KIS IGCSE School, Bhayander, Mumbai

KIS IGCSE School, Bhayander organised an engaging Orienteering Event for students of Grade 10, A Level, and AS Level, providing them an excellent platform to experience outdoor learning in a fun and challenging way. The event aimed to combine physical endurance with mental alertness as students navigated through marked checkpoints using maps and strategic planning.
A total of 52 students participated in this exciting activity, displaying enthusiasm, discipline, and competitive spirit. The event not only encouraged fitness but also nurtured problem-solving skills, teamwork, and the ability to think under pressure.
Girls’ Category
- Total Participants: 20
The girls exhibited outstanding confidence and determination as they tackled the course. Their precision in navigation and steady pace made the competition both thrilling and inspiring.
Winners:
- 1st Place: Suhani Sawane (AS Level)
- 2nd Place: Ojal A. Patil (Grade 10)
- 3rd Place: Vanshika Nair (Grade 10)
Boys’ Category
- Total Participants: 32
The boys approached the challenge with great energy and competitive spirit. Their focus and navigation skills added excitement to the event as they raced to complete the course successfully.

- 2nd Place: Parth Kuyare (Grade 10)
- 3rd Place: Daanish Miyana (Grade 10)
Closing Note
The Orienteering Event proved to be a valuable learning experience for all participants. Students explored new skills, learned to analyse routes, and pushed their physical boundaries in a safe, supervised environment.
