GAET International School, Goa proudly hosted an exciting and action-packed Orienteering Event, bringing together young athletes from various age categories. The event aimed to develop essential life skills such as navigation, decision-making, physical endurance, and spatial awareness among students. The school campus was filled with enthusiasm as participants explored the course using maps, checkpoints, and strategic thinking.
A total of 112 students took part in this thrilling outdoor adventure. Participants demonstrated remarkable confidence, teamwork, and determination throughout the event.
Under – 12 Category
- Total Participants: 15
The youngest group displayed exceptional energy and eagerness during the course.
Boys’ Winners: - 1st Place: Ayan
- 2nd Place: Stephan
- 3rd Place (Tie): Daniel & Rudra
Under – 14 Category
- Total Participants: 86
This was the largest and most competitive group, showcasing strong orienteering skills and impressive athletic performance.
Girls’ Winners: - 1st Place: Anushka
- 2nd Place: Amilya
- 3rd Place: Maya & Verinica (Joint)
Under – 16 & Under – 18 Categories
- Total Participants: 11
These senior categories showed maturity, quick navigation skills, and composed strategy.

Boys’ Winners:

- 2nd Place: Azriel
Conclusion
The Orienteering Event at GAET International School was a resounding success, helping students build confidence, leadership, and resilience. All participants performed exceptionally well, and the event concluded with a strong message of sportsmanship and outdoor learning.
