Atma Malik International School (CBSE) & Atma Malik Senior Secondary High School (SSC), Sahapur successfully organized a large-scale Orienteering Event, providing students with a unique opportunity to experience learning beyond the classroom through adventure, navigation, and problem-solving. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 1,200 students across Grades 5 to 10, making it one of the most engaging and inclusive co-curricular activities conducted by the school.

Orienteering is a sport that combines physical fitness with mental agility, requiring participants to navigate through a designated area using maps and directional clues. The event was thoughtfully designed to suit different age groups, ensuring safety while encouraging independence, teamwork, decision-making, and spatial awareness among students.

Throughout the event, students demonstrated exceptional levels of concentration, endurance, leadership, and confidence. They navigated checkpoints, interpreted maps accurately, and completed challenges within stipulated timeframes. Teachers and coordinators closely monitored the activity, ensuring smooth execution and fostering a supportive environment that motivated students to give their best.

The orienteering event not only enhanced students’ physical well-being but also helped develop essential life skills such as strategic thinking, resilience, time management, and self-discipline. The vibrant energy, collaborative spirit, and enthusiasm displayed by the students reflected the school’s commitment to holistic education and experiential learning.
