Ryan Global School, Andheri proudly hosted an exciting and action-packed Orienteering Event on 25th February, 2026, offering students an enriching platform to blend physical activity with strategic thinking. The event saw active participation from 120 students of Grades 5 to 11, transforming the campus into a vibrant arena of exploration, teamwork, and healthy competition.

Designed as an experiential learning initiative, the orienteering challenge encouraged students to step beyond traditional classroom boundaries. Armed with maps and directional clues, participants navigated through designated checkpoints, applying analytical skills, logical reasoning, and quick decision-making abilities along the way.

Apart from the orienteering challenges, learners also had the opportunity to create and design their own maps. This was a fun and engaging activity that taught them the basics of map drawing, helped them understand spatial layouts, and emphasized the importance of planning and visualization in navigation.

The event was carefully structured to cater to different age groups, ensuring safety while fostering independence and leadership. Students displayed remarkable enthusiasm, resilience, and sportsmanship as they completed tasks within the allotted time. Their ability to collaborate, strategize, and remain focused under pressure highlighted the development of both cognitive and physical competencies.

Teachers and coordinators played a pivotal role in guiding and supervising the event, ensuring its seamless execution. Their support created a motivating atmosphere that empowered students to challenge themselves and strive for excellence.

Beyond the thrill of competition, the event reinforced vital life skills such as time management, perseverance, critical thinking, and self-discipline. The overwhelming participation and spirited involvement reflected the school’s dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals through holistic and activity-based learning.
