Orienteering Athletes from India participated at the TIOC (Technical International Orienteering Championship) and AsCC (Asian Orienteering Coaching Clinic), 2024 at Thailand. Our delegation is a true reflection of the strength, passion, and commitment that define the Orienteering community in India.
This year, we have an exceptional group of athletes and coaches who are ready to take on new challenges and contribute to the growth of Orienteering in the country. Here’s a brief introduction to the key members of the delegation to Thailand:
1. Sayeesha Sridhara Kirani – Athlete & Team Captain
Sayeesha has been a leading Indian Orienteer for many years, representing India at numerous international events. As both an athlete and the captain of the team, he played a crucial role in guiding and inspiring the delegation. Sayeesha participated in the TIOC as well as the AsCC training connect.
2. Rahul Verma – Athlete
Rahul is an accomplished Orienteering athlete who has represented India in international competitions, winning accolades in events such as the Indonesia Orienteering Championship at Thailand. His drive and determination to continue learning make him a valuable asset to the team, and he is eager to enhance his skills through the AsCC training.
3. Mohammed Ahmedullah Zerbaf Sharief – Athlete
A dedicated athlete, Zerbaf has also represented India on the international stage, including in Indonesia and Thailand. With his self-motivation and enthusiasm for new challenges, he has further developed his Orienteering abilities in Thailand.
